the state barrier fence, at 3253 kilometers, it is the worlds longest fence
originally the rabbit proof fence, except no one told the rabbits (24 "harmless" rabbits were introduced to Victoria in 1859)
now it keeps emus, kangaroos and dingos out of the wheatbelt |
